I am a graduate of the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF) and have worked with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for two and a half years as an earth team volunteer. At NRCS I have worked on various projects including wetlands restoration, re-forestation projects, conservation reserve program, wildlife habitat incentive program and native New York State Forbs.

As a wife and mother of two boys I feel that a broad based, but contemporary education is essential. The magnitude of the environmental issues that we face today are tremendous in comparison to what we have faced in the past. The only way that we can deal with them effectively now and in the future is to understand them. By presenting lessons on these issues in an interesting format that can be understood at each individual grade level, I hope to promote this understanding and problem solving. The lessons can be between one hour and week long including field trips
